We've been awaiting the arrival of this one with eager anticipation. Introducing the Sigri Estate Washed "B" from the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea, near Mount Hagen. Sigri Coffee Estate was founded in the 1950’s by Tom Cole, a crocodile hunter and coffee farmer. The farm is situated in the flat and fertile Waghi Valley, at an altitude of over 1600 masl. This coffee is organically grown. This delicious bean will make for an excellent single origin espresso, or base for a premium blend.

Region:  Waghi Valley, Western Highlands, Mt Hagen
Grade: B
Variety: Typica, Bourbon and Catimor
Process:  Washed and sun dried
Altitude:  1,600 masl

Cupping Notes: Our cupping revealed aromas of tropical fruits, sweet tomato jam and caramel. Silky mouthfeel and juicy body carrying flavours of black tea, brown sugar, nectarine, a hint of brown spice and lemon like acidity.
We gave it an SCA cupping score of 84
